I think the originals should be included only to appease the die-hard & [really] old-school fans? Yes. Care if they are not included in the price? No No, I do not like every little thing that has been added, but I do appreciate him cleaning of certain special effects-so as not to leave these things bother me. I disagree that any change that did was for the better, but it's a great saga-deal with it. Once he made up his mind he probably isn't going to change it on a bunch of negative reviews on amazon.

Add on what another reviewer wrote, if you prefer the originals in their ' original ', then we prefer original and their quality is poorest '. And if so, why do you need these on bluray? They already exist on the dvd, so get those * and * save money.

Casual fans. excited for Blu rays, January 13, 2011 this review is from: Star Wars: The Complete Saga (episodes i-VI) [Blu-Ray] (Blu-ray) I can understand a lot of versions of topics about these reviews on Lucas releasing modified, etc. And that's fine, I guess if you're a fanatic completist/movies, although the majority of people, is already the DVD with the original versions, not to say you shouldn't desire them on Blu Ray. For someone like me, I remember looking at them when I was younger, had toys, I got into it during the reprints, played the game of cards, had the latest toys, but never collected them on vhs/dvd. And then some of the biggest movies were released on Blu-ray, since this version, although I would still consider myself a casual fan. That first shot is irrelevant to me, you'll enjoy them the same. Ive never seen the prequel and not wanted, but seeing as how to buy the complete set of 6 film is the only way to get the special features, I suppose its time to give them a whirl. help other customers find the most useful reviews  this review was helpful?
